So I'm in Florida still, learning to be patient. It's four months until I will start my year as a YAV and I'm already anxious. What will it be like, living outside of Florida for the first time in 20 years? What will winter and snow be like? Will I be prepared? How can I pack for a whole year in just two suitcases?
These are just a few of the questions in my head almost all the time. It's hard not knowing the answers. But I know I'll be fine. They'll be answered in good time. God has called me to this mission, now I just have to show up and do his bidding.
In the meantime, I'm soaking in as much Florida as I can, going to the beach, supporting friends at drumlins competitions, and, of course, Disney. I'm making memories to take with me when I go.
